FAQ - What you need to Know

1. How do I prepare for my session?

​​

For in-person sessions:
Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows your body to move freely.

Some of this work may involve natural movement, shifts in posture, or gentle hands-on techniques like fascia release.

​

Come with an open mind and heart, ready to tune in to what your body and energy need in the moment.

​

Drinking water before (and after) your session helps support your body in processing and integrating any physical or energetic shifts.

​

If you have questions beforehand, feel free to reach out.

​

For online sessions:
Please be in a quiet, private space where you won’t be disturbed.

This is your time, so create a space that feels safe, comfortable, and nourishing.

​

Have the following nearby:

  • Water for hydration

  • Tissues, just in case emotions arise

  • Pen and paper for any notes or reflections that come through

​

Tech and setup notes:

  • Your camera must be on and positioned so I can see your whole body, or at a minimum from head to knees

  • You'll need to be lying down, so prepare a spot that supports this, on a bed, yoga mat, or couch, wherever feels best for your body

  • Make sure the lighting is gentle but clear enough so I can see you, no need for anything bright or clinical, just enough visibility

  • A headset or earphones is ideal for the best sound quality so you can hear me clearly, including any music or energetic cues

Treat the space like a little sanctuary. The more you settle in and honour it as time for you, the deeper the experience can go.

2. What can I expect during a session?

​

​Every session is unique, guided by your body's history, necessity and for your highest good in the moment.

You may experience gentle physical movements, emotional releases or deep states of calm and clarity. Some people feel physical sensations such as tingling, warmth, waves of energy, or even temporary discomfort or pain as energy shifts and releases. Emotional responses may also arise, such as laughter, tears, or a sense of relief as your system lets go of what it no longer needs.

Each session is tailored to what's present for you.

3. What happens after a session?

​

Your session continues to work on physical and subtle levels for the next 72 hours or sometimes longer, so it's important to be gentle with yourself during this time. I'll send you an aftercare PDF with helpful guidance to support your integration processing over the coming days. 

If anything arises or you have questions, please don't hesitate to reach out, I'm here to support you every step of the way.

4. Can I book a follow-up or package?

​

Yes, many clients find ongoing sessions helpful for deeper healing and growth. Typically, sessions are spaced out from a couple of weeks to a few months apart, depending on your needs and your own timing, 

We'll tailor the timing and approach to best support your needs and unique process.

5. Is energy work suitable for everyone?

​

Because I blend several healing modalities, each session is tailored to suits you best. While energy work can be a wonderful complement to medical and therapeutic treatments and supports your overall wellbeing, it is not a replacement for professional care.

It's important to use your own judgment and consult with consult with your healthcare provider if you have any concerns.

If you're unsure whether this work is suitable for you, the new client form helps me understand your current experience and health history, so I can clarify if my approach will support you. It also provides imprtant information about health considerations to keep in mind.

What is
