There's nothing complicated you need to do beforehand, simply arrive as you are.
A few small things can help your body get the most from the session.
• Stay well Hydrated before you arrive.
• Avoid caffeine for at least two hours beforehand, as it can stimulate the nervouse system.
• Wear comfortable clothing so your body can relax easily during the session.
• Try to arrive a few minutes early so you're not rushing.
If this is your first session, you'll need to complete a New Client Form (https://form.jotform.com/livingisapractice/new-client-form)beforehand so I can understand a little more about what you're currently moving through.
In-person sessions take place in North and East London, around Hackney and Angel, where I work directly with the body through gentle touch, somatic techniques, and energy-based practices.
Being in the same space allows us to work more physically with the nervous system, fascia, and energetic field.
I also offer group sessions in East London where the work unfolds in a shared space and people are guided through the process together.
Online sessions focus more on guided awareness, subconscious and energetic work, and supporting the nervous system remotely. Even at a distance, people often experience meaningful shifts.
Both formats offer different experiences, and we can explore what feels most supportive for you.
If you feel called to stay connected, I share occasional updates about upcoming sessions, new spaces in London, and any events or work abroad - you’re welcome to stay connected here.(/contact)
People come to this work for many different reasons.
Some are experiencing physical tension, stress, or nervous system. Others feel stuck emotionally, are moving through a life transition, or sense that something within them is ready to shift but aren't sure how to access it.
My work supports the body and nervous system in releasing stored tension, reconnecting with inner awareness, and creating space for new patterns to emerge.
Because I work with a blend of body-based and energetic approaches, sessions can be adapted to support many different experiences.
However, it's important for me to understand your health background before we begin.
If you are currently experiencing severe mental health challenges, complex medical conditions (such as serious heart conditions), or are under intensive medical care, please let me know before booking so we can discuss whether this work is appropriate and how to approach safely.
This work is designed to support your overall wellbeing, but it does not replace medical or psychological care.
No.
You don't need to believe in anything in particular for the work to have effect.
Many people simply come with curiousity and notice that they feel calmer, clearer, or more connected after sessions.
Rather than relying on belief, the work focuses on how the body and nervous system responds when given the space to release tension and come back into balance.
