Trauma Body Release
For when something happened to your body, and part of you is still responding to it.
Trauma doesn't always end when the event is over.

Sometimes the body continues to respond - through tension, posture, movement, sensation, or heightened reactions to particular sounds, images, situations or enviroments.

Trauma Body Release is a body-led session for exploring these patterns, and the physical and emotional stress that comes with them.
We begin with Touch For Health muscle balance, using muscle monitoring to harmonise and establish a starting point for the session.

From there, we follow your body's responses. We may explore postural alignment, movements, muscle patterns, vision, sound and other sensory responses. The body guides the direction of the session, rather than a fixed sequence.

You don't need to have every detail of what happened figured out, or need to talk through the experience in order for us to begin. We work with what your body is showing us now.

The intention is to give your body space to recognise the patterns it has developed, work with the associated stress, and explore a different responce.
This work may be relevant following
- an accident or physical injury

- A traumatic physical experience

- Changes in posture or movement following an event
